This is a great book for anyone who wishes to eat healthy or at least healthier. I found it very interesting that it describes exactly why each ingredient mentioned is healthy. Also, I found it very useful and helpful that the author provides you with a recipe for each ingredient and that all other ingredients are healthy as well. I've tried quite a few recipes and so far- they were all delicious!
I'm very happy with this book; I bought copies for my friends as well. They really like it as well.
Good info about the foods but not sure about the recipes. We are just trying them. SO far the cabbage and raisin dish was merely "okay." I'll post more when I have tried a few more. Perhaps the best use of this book is to remind you of foods you want to include in your diet. The photos are wonderful.
